Isolated Talks: The Pitfalls Of Purpose

In March 2020 the UK went into lockdown in an attempt to safeguard the country from to the COVID-19 pandemic. Companies rushed to get their staff working from home, non-essential shops closed their doors and thousands of events were cancelled.

With the world’s marketing conferences curtailed Giles Edwards and his team set up Isolated Talks, a site aiming to keep ideas flowing despite the trying circumstances and to raise money for the Samaritans while they do it.

I was lucky enough to be invited to contribute a talk and decided to share a piece based on my article The Pitfalls Of Purpose.

You can watch the entire talk at the Isolated Talks website or on the project’s YouTube channel. If you enjoy the talk please consider making a small donation to the cause.
